Privacy policy
This chatbot service answers questions about websites, using each website's own content. It is a free, non-commercial project run by Muhammad Huzaifa Khan. This page says what it keeps, why, and for how long.
If you run a site (and sign in)
- Your account: your name, your email address, and your account id from GitHub or Google, as they give them to us when you sign in. No password is ever stored here.
- Your sites: the settings you enter (content address, greeting, allowed sites, and so on), and a search index built from your site's public content.
- Your Groq key: stored encrypted, used only to answer your visitors, and never shown again, to you or anyone.
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, and a short-lived one used only while signing in. Signing out ends your session at once.
If you chat with a site's chatbot
- Your questions and the answers are saved with the time and the pages each answer cited, so the site's owner can see what visitors ask and improve their content.
- Nothing identifies you: no name, no email, no IP address, no cookies. A random id groups the questions from one chat window and is forgotten when the window closes. Your IP address is used, in memory only, to limit how many questions can be asked an hour; this service never writes it down (Vercel, which runs it, keeps short-lived request logs under its own policy).
- Saved chats are deleted after 90 days. Please don't type personal details into a chat.
Who else handles data
- Vercel runs the service; Prisma hosts its database; Qdrant Cloud holds the search indexes of sites' public content; GitHub Actions builds those indexes.
- Groq writes the answers: each question is sent to Groq with the matching passages from the site (and, on sites that remember the previous question, that question and its answer), using the site owner's own Groq account.
- GitHub and Google handle sign-in.
Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
Keeping and deleting
- Chats: 90 days. Sign-in sessions: up to 30 days.
- Deleting a site from the dashboard deletes its settings, its Groq key, its search index, and its chats.
- To delete your account, or to ask what's stored about you, email khanhuzaifa207@gmail.com.
